Trodat stamps work by using a pre-inked or self-inking mechanism to transfer ink onto a surface when pressure is applied. In a self-inking stamp, the rubber or polymer stamp die rotates to press against an internal ink pad before making contact with the paper. This design allows for quick, clean impressions and easy re-inking when needed.
