Permanent markers can often be recharged by adding a few drops of rubbing alcohol or marker-specific ink into the marker barrel or onto the felt tip. Carefully remove the back cap or unscrew the marker if possible, and use a dropper to add the liquid. Allow the marker to rest horizontally for a few hours to let the ink distribute evenly before using it again.
