The HON 38000 does have the same keyed lock for both pedestals. The lock core will lock the upper and lower pedestal at the same time. Also, according to HON both pedestals will have the same key to unlock both sides. If you would like to use a different key you can order a HON lock core and here is the HON lock core that they recommend.
