Yes, the BSH2960CSA103 box actually has 2 pedestals, and the BSH2960CSA203 box has the desk surface and the modesty panel. We have had customers run into this same issue and almost every time our customer service sees "Box 1 of 2" we call the customer to let them know it is just half of the desk. It is a little frustrating for everyone involved, so we feel your pain! The good news is that the 103 is on clearance, so the pricing is really good. It does need to ship via truck which can help minimize damage vs shipping a desk through UPS, but there is an additional cost in checkout. Hope we can help and sorry for the issue.
