According to the instructions the lid of this Stouffer's® Traditional Baked Macaroni and Cheese should be "domed away from the product by lighting crimping over the tray's edges", however it should not be completely removed completely. You should only remove the lid to stir the product halfway through its cooking time, then replace the lid immediately after.
