The "M" stands for Miss, Mr., Mrs. or ma'am for the title before the surname.
- Use Miss with a complete name when you address a card, letter, etc. Typically to a young girl, an unmarried woman. i.e. Miss Susan Smith
- Mr. can be used for married and unmarried man.
- You should use ma'am when you are speaking to a woman who is older than you or a woman who is in a position of authority. Please note that ma'am does not have a capital M, but Miss, Mr. and Mrs. do.
- Generally, Mrs. is used for a married woman. Mrs. Susan Smith
"Of" typically used for company, business name, work force, government agency. If there is no company, etc. just enter "N/A" for not applicable.
