The manufacturers suggested applications for Permatex Ultra Blue silicone gasket maker are automobile (valve covers, oil pans and timing covers) and marine (valve covers, oil pans, intake manifold seals, timing covers, water pumps and thermostat housings.) This product is not recommended for use on head gaskets or parts in contact with gasoline. Please see the Technical Data Sheet for further information.
