The TEC402241 One Shot Soap Dispenser can be mounted with double sided tape (provided by the manufacturer) or with mounting screws (not provided due to the different number of mounting surfaces you could be mounting the Dispenser to). Since the Dispenser is mounted with screws, the openings are not 1" wide. As you can see from these instructions, they are smaller ( xxxx head sized).
