This item is not made to connect as it comes in a set of 3 unbreakable files . Stacking these files would create a space or gap in between . Alternate file options that are made to connect with add on files incluide item UNV53682 and item DEF63601RT. Both of these items have physical hardware which allow files to be added and securly attached . We appreciate your question, have a great day .
