According to the manufacturer, the calendar strip is magnetic and can be removed. Simply slide down the old one and replace with the new one. Each year, as a courtesy, you can call the manufacturer and ask for a new one of the current year to be sent to you at no charge by referencing Item # CMP32P: 800-541-0094.
