The shelves on the TNN1276PCSD - Snap - Together Steel Six-Shelf Closed Starter Set are adjustable. So you can adjust them as you see fit to accommodate whatever items you're putting on the shelves. The shelves are 12" deep. This system is 36" wide by 76" tall. There is a 200 to 300 lb load capacity per shelf with weight evenly distributed.
