This is a great question and I am more than happy to explain what is happening. AbilityOne is our nation's largest employer of blind and disabled people in the USA. They will import massive amounts of the physical staples, clips and clamps. Then the AbilityOne employees will package the staples that were originally made in China. Legally they have to post that original product was made in China, but the actual packaging that holds the product is made here in the USA.
I know it is a little confusing, but you should know that by choosing any AbilityOne product you are supporting our nation's blind and disabled population. They are not trying to be deceptive and this is a common practice for AbilityOne to help keep the cost lower for staples, clips and clamps. At the same time supporting people who would otherwise find it hard to support themselves and their families.
