No. The PRO-2000-20 Ultra High-Speed Burnisher only polishes floors. To strip wax, you need the PRO-175-21 Floor Machine/Auto Scrubber. It operates at a lower speed, and thus can be used to strip wax, as well as scrub floors. You can also use it with a carpet brush to clean carpets.
