The stem of my caster is 3/8x1&1/2" The goove is 1" down from the top of the stem. Are you able to tell me the type Safety Casters, Oversized Neck, Grip Ring Type B Stem, 2" Soft Polyurethane Wheel, Matte Black, 5/Set Chair Casters & Chair Glides

The stem of my caster is 3/8x1&1/2" The goove is 1" down from the top of the stem. Are you able to tell me the type of stem that I have so that I can order the right casters. My casters now are for use on a chair mat, black hooded with split wheels. I need a set of five.

Is sounds like you need K-Stem casters, but you should match the length and diameter of your stem to the diagram below.

Caster Stem Diagram

To determine the length, you only need to measure the part of the stem exposed above the wheel. It doesn't matter whether your current casters have rounded or flat tops. As long as the length and diameter are the same, the new casters will fit your chair.
