The Seat Glide Mechanism and the Seat Depth Adjustment are two different feature that provide the same ergonomic benefit: adjusting the amount of space between the chair seat and the back.
The Seat Glide Mechanism moves the chair seat forwards and backwards relative to the chair back.
The Seat Depth Adjustment moves the chair back to and away from the chair seat.
