I just purchased a new Tempur-Pedic® TP8000 Ergonomic Mesh Mid-Back Task Chair; Black and it came with carpet cast

I just purchased a new Tempur-Pedic® TP8000 Ergonomic Mesh Mid-Back Task Chair; Black and it came with carpet casters. I am using in on a hard wood floor, oak I think. I measured the stem and it is 1 inch long and 3/8 diameter. I included the part of the stem that is wider where it meets the chair in the 1 inch measurement. The stem part if looked at directly from the side resembles a "T." If I only measure the thin part of the stem it is 7/8 long. It appears to be your Type K. I do not quite understand what my options are. I believe the chair weighs 66 pounds and I weigh about 115 pounds. I also don't understand your pricing. Is is $41 per caster so then for 5 casters it would cost me $205? That must be wrong as the entire chair cost $299. So that part I must be misunderstanding. Please let me know.

From your description, "K" stem soft wheel casters appear to be your best bet. However, I can not make this recommendation without reservation because of the unusual shape of your caster stems. I recommend contacting Tempur-Pedic® for more information, or emailing us a picture of one of your casters. We are happy to do all we can to find the right casters for your chair. Just be sure to include the diameter of the narrow part of the stem.

Master Caster® casters are sold in sets of four or five. The "K" stem Master Caster® Duet Twin Wheels are sold in sets of five. The listed prices are per set, not per wheel.
