PFX42338 Pendaflex® Ready-Tab™ Folders come closest to meeting your needs. Each folder has three tabs. You pick the tab you want to use and fold the others down. That way, you can pick one color folder for all the first position tabs, another for the second position, and a third color for the third position tabs.
Apart from the uniquely designed Ready-Tab™ Folders, colored file folders are not coded to tab position. That's because colored folders are designed to organize distinct file categories into easy-to spot color blocks, not label individual files within a category. So for example, you'd use red files for customer data, green for financial data, blue for vendor data, etc.
Color-coded labels are the best way to color-code tabs. We recommend Universal® Self-Adhesive File Folder Labels.
