The DYMO Label POINT 100 is a thermal label printer. It doesn't use ink, so there is no ink cartridge to replace. The color and text comes from the cartridges. Changing the D1 Label Tape Cartridge usually solves print issues.
If you have trouble printing even after adding a fresh cartridge, try doing a hard reset by removing the battery and pressing the power button twenty times.
If neither a fresh cartridge or a hard reset resolves the print issue, the problem is with the machine itself. Unfortunately, since the Label POINT 100 is an older machine, DYMO doesn't offer any troubleshooting or repair services. You'll need to upgrade to a newer machine. DYMO recommends:
- DYMO® LabelManager 160P (uses 1/2", 1/4" and 3/8" D1 tape. )
- DYMO® LetraTag® Plus Personal Label Makers (uses LetraTag Label Cassettes.)
These are all inexpensive handheld label makers.
