Will this adapter work on the Brother P-Touch 2300 Label machine? I bought an adapter on ebay for $5.85 which claimed to be used for the P-Touch 2300 but my machine didn't even turn on. Please let me know as soon as possible. I don't want to keep purchasing adapters but tired of using 16 batteries. Brother has discontinued selling the adapter for the P-Touch 2300.

The AD24 adapter is compatible with current P-Touch Label Makers, such as the PT-2700 and 2030 lines. It is not compatible with the discontinued PT-2300 lineup.

Since the PT-2300 and its AD60 adapter has been discontinued, you'll need to upgrade your machine to get away from batteries.
