Thank you for your question about Swingline S.F. 4 Premium Staples.
These staples are made from galvanized steel. This means the metal is treated with a protective coating to offer some protection against rust.
However, the protective layer does wear away over time. Galvanized steel staples are great for everyday office applications, but we don't recommend you use them outdoors.
