Hi Andy,
Thank you for your question about Ergotron® WorkFit-A Sit-Stand Workstations.
You can attach these workstations to your desk through the grommet hole or by clamping them to the edge of the desk.
WorkFit-A Sit-Stand Workstations fit desks between .5" and 2.5" thick. They are ideal for metal, wood and compressed wood desks, but aren't recommended for glass desks.
The workstations come with all the necessary mounting hardware, but you'll need a 1/4" ratchet and Philips screwdriver. You can check out the complete installation instructions at the links below:
