Hi Carla,
Thank you for your question about Rubbermaid Commercial Swivel Bayonet Casters. These casters are for Rubbermaid WaveBrake Mop Buckets, not office chairs. You need a set of Master Caster Soft Wheel Casters.
Use soft wheel casters on chair mats and hard floors, such as wood, tile and linoleum.
Soft wheel casters are specifically designed for use on hard, uncarpeted floors. They are made of soft rubber or soft compound such as urethane, so they won't nick or scratch your new floors. Plus, the soft wheels grip hard floors, so you chair won't roll across the room when you bump it, or roll out from under you when you try to sit.
You'll need to measure your current caster stems before you buy a new set to make sure you get the right size.
- Remove one of your casters from your chair.
- Measure the length and diameter of the stem, then match it to the diagram. It doesn't matter if the top of your caster is round or flat, or where the metal grip ring is. As long as stem is the right size, the caster will fit.
