Hi Catherine,

Thank you for your question about Universal Desktop Laminators.

You can use any type of card stock paper with Universal Desktop Laminators. The mil capacity only applies to the thickness of the pouches. Universal laminators can only heat and seal laminator pouches of 3 and 5 mil.
