Hi Fletcher,
Thanks for you question about the Vertiflex Product Suggestion Box with Message Board.
The cork bulletin board has two layers: 3 mm layer of cork, and 1 cm of foam padding. The board is thick enough that you can use either tack or standard push pins, as well as staples.
