Paper weights can be very confusing. The term paperweight, and number corresponding with each weight, refers to the thickness and sturdiness of the paper, not the actual weight of the sheet.
When weights of cover stock are very similar, we can look at the grams per square meter, which is the actual weight of the sheet for comparison.
In this instance, the 67lb cover stock is known as Vellum Bristol - typically used as postcards - which has 145 GSM. The 65lb Cover Stock has 175gsm, typically used as light weight business cards, greeting cards, post cards, etc..
There is not a huge difference between the two weights, however , I have been advised that the 65lb is more often used as a sturdy stock with a superb "soft feel" fast drying surface. Great for postcards, menus and posters.
