Thank you for question about Stanley Bostitch B8 Heavy-Duty Plier Stapler.
The B8 Heavy-Duty Plier Stapler's unique design staples more pages and provides a better hold than standard staplers. Becuse of this unique design, only 1/4" and 3/8" B8 Powercrown Staples will fit in this stapler. Staples in other sizes or made by other brands will not fit in the B8 Heavy Duty Plier Stapler.

A single B8 Staple can hold together up 45 pages. When used as a tack, it provides as much holding power as a thumb tack or push pin. B8 Heavy-Duty Staplers and Staples are ideal for businesses such as pharmacies, florists -- anywhere there's a whole lot of stapling going on!
Unless you know you'll never have to staple anything thicker that a 25-sheet paper stack, I recommend you go with the larger 3/8" staples. That way you can handle a variety of projects without having to switch out your staples.
