Hi Lisa,
Thanks for your question about the Proximo Security System.
Proximo tags and fobs are battery operated. You don't need any adapters or anything to operate them. The battery lasts for about 6 months. The Proximo app has an indicator that lets you know when it's time to change batteries.
The Proximo tags and fobs all use CR2032 batteries, aka your standard watch battery. To replace the battery, use a #00 size Phillips to remove the back cover.
