Thank you very much for your question and I think we can help! The MMF Currency Counter has several counting modes that I think will benefit you. I was looking over the product manual for the 2005520UM and the "Value counting and add mode" is the counting mode that will do this for you. According the the manual, "This mode counts different denominations of bills and tracks the total value of bills counted. To activate this mode press ADD/BAT button. The ADD indicator is lit. Press the Val button, and then enter the desired denomination using the keypad. The denomination will be shown in the screen. The denomination value may be changed at any time using the keypad. The machine will now start calculating the value using the new denomination."
I know you were only asking about the value and counting add mode, but there are a couple of other modes that I thought were really cool. So for your benefit I thought I would mention two other counting modes. One is the "Add + Batch Mode" and the other is the "Value Counting Mode."
Add and Batch Mode
This mode batches the desired quantity of bills and monitors the running total at the same time. To activate this mode, press the ADD/BAT button until the ADD and BATCH indicator are both on. Use the keypad to enter the desired batch amount. The machine will add beginning with the next count. The total number of bills counted will appear on the LCD screen. The last batch count will be displayed on the LCD screen. If the batch is incomplete the LCD screen blinks with the number of the bills in the last count.
Value Counting Mode
This mode allows you to display the total of bills counted. The Steelmaster 200550UM uses a user-defined bill denomination as a multiplier and displays the total value of bills counted. For example, a denomination of $20 x 25 bills counted = 500 displayed.
To activate this mode, press the VAL button. The Value indicator LED is lit. Used the numeric keypad to enter the desired denomination value. After selecting the desired denomination, load the bills to be counted into the hopper. Ensure that the denomination of the bills matches the selected denomination. The 2005520UM counts the stack and displays the total value and shows the number of bills counted on the screen. To exit, press the VAL button.
I know you were only asking about the different denominations question, but the more I read about this product the more I was impressed by the counting options. Very cool and exciting.
