Thank you very much for your question, and it is a great question. Amazingly the main difference is that the deluxe version is a heavier binder and more durable. These are better suited for executive meetings, where you want to demonstrate the value of your proposal or when you use a binder all the time (typically a binder that everyone uses for phone or room number, like a reception or front desk situation). The size and all the other features of the binder are the same whether it is deluxe or economy, and if you are curious about picking the best size binder, here is a terrific article "How to choose the best 3 ring binder?"
Our Universal is a great binder at an economical price. We have hundreds of customers that use them and are very satisfied. Also, I don't think you can say one brand is better than the other. There are customers who prefer Avery and see a difference in quality. Personally I feel their binders are about the same. The Universals are modeled after the Wilson Jones or Acco line of binders, which are the industry standard for binders!
