Thank you for your question about the Crayola Colored Woodcase Pencils. These pencils do not contain any recycled material but they are apart of Crayola's green initiative.
Crayola colored pencils are made with reforested wood which means, for every tree used, another of the same kind is planted. Also, Crayola does not use wood from tropical rainforests or endangered species. Pretty neat, huh?
