Are the ink "sticks" that come in the pens the old metal ones or plastic? ThanksThe current cost, as of 11/14/2011, for a 12 pack is $8.56 and can change without notice. Since they are special order we will quote current cost. Also, note that these refils are the GSA plastic refils and not metal refills
