Thank you for your question. This smoking urn can be bolted to the concrete using a 1/2" shank (or stem of a bolt) and there are 3 holes to secure this urn. They hide the bolt holes under base of this unit.
The middle section of the smoking urn twists off and can be removed for easy access to remove cigarette debris and waste. This smoking urn is easy to use and is durable based on Rubbermaid's recommendations.
