Thank you for your question. The B3 Aviator ballpoint retractable pen uses black ink, red ink, and .5 mm lead. That is the reason it is called a "B3" pen because it has the ability to write in 3 different colors. We also sell the refils and have plenty of B3 retractable pens in stock for imidiate shipment.
