The Master Lock Speed Dial works by movement. You set the combination by moving the lock when it is open, and it can be moved to the right, to the left, up, or down. So you would open the lock and set three movements in whichever way you choose (e.g., 2 movements to the right and 1 to the left). Close the lock, and then when you want to open it, you would move 2 to the right and 1 to the left. This lock is also more secure than other locks because there is no keyhole to pick.
