Thank you so much for your question regarding the Expansion Drop Pocket from Smead. The overall measurements for this product are the following:
14 3/4" Wide9 1/2 " High total, with a 9 inch front
That will give you a 1/2 tab to document your items.
These folder have the "roll over Tyveck reinforcement" on the side, which makes them virtually tear proof! Which is really nice when you load in a lot of papers or if you have this item for a long time. The redrope files are 30% recycled, and they have a gusset (the accordion side) which is 6 1/2" high.
Just a bit of trivia! I also found out that they are called "redrope" and "redwell" by the mill for their color. So everyone just refers to them as redwell or redrope folders. Many people call looking for the "attorney folders" because attorneys use them in their daily practice.
