Thank you for your question. We had a sample sent to our corporate office and this item is embossed in white. It is not clearly visible, and they only way to see the embossed print is to hold this item up to the light and tilt the sheet protector back and forth. This is a light weigh sheet protector and I think it will work great for your archiving project. Good luck with your project and please call or e-mail us with any question.
